How can therapy help depression?
Dr. Tripp treats depression typically using cognitive-behavioral strategies, which involves looking at the thoughts you’re having that might lead to depression and helping you see things in a different light. Depression can also be effectively treated by starting to re-engage in the activities you’ve stopped doing that usually make you feel good. Dr. Tripp also helps people work on and confront painful emotions they may be experiencing within session.
